Garden Rainbow Quilt Completed

I posted a few photos on Facebook but forgot to blog! Oh dear. The pattern called for simple in the ditch quilting but it didn't seem right to me as I imagined an overall look and thought up this clamshells design. It was quilted by Lucy of Lasting Creations. This quilt is to brighten up our bedroom in winter and to take away in our caravan in the warmer months when a doona is not needed.

The pattern is by Roberta Horton in Kaffe Fassett fabrics from his book "Country Garden Quilts".
